I shoot live music the way it happens: fast, loud, and in low light. That means working the pit for the first songs, then moving out to the crowd and the wings so the gallery holds the whole night.

Most of what I cover is concerts, festivals, and worship nights across central Pennsylvania, from touring acts at rooms like Stage AE to station festivals like WIOV's Fall Fest and WJTL Fest. I know the rhythm of a show, the three-song limit that a lot of pits run, and how to get sharp frames when the only light on stage is a moving wash of blue and red.
